Get started with StatsBases in just a few steps
A league is the foundation of your baseball organization. Here's how to create one:
- Navigate to the Leagues page from the sidebar
- Click on the "Create League" button
- Fill in the required information:
- League Name (e.g., "Summer Baseball League 2024")
- Description (optional)
- League settings and rules
- Click "Save" to create your league
💡 Tip: You can create multiple leagues to organize different seasons or divisions.
Once you have a league, you'll need to create teams to compete:
- Go to the Teams page from the sidebar
- Click on the "Create Team" button
- Fill in the team details:
- Team Name (e.g., "Red Sox", "Yankees")
- Select the league this team belongs to
- Add team logo or colors (optional)
- Click "Save" to create your team
⚠️ Important: Each team can only play in one league at a time. Create separate teams for different leagues if needed.
Now it's time to build your team roster by adding players:
- Navigate to your team's page
- Click on the "Roster" tab
- Click "Add Player"
- You have two options:
- Add existing player: Search for and select a player you've already created
- Create new player: Fill in player details (name, position, jersey number, etc.)
- Repeat to add all players to your roster
⚾ Minimum Requirement: Each team must have at least 4 players on their roster before you can start a game.
💡 Tips:
- You can only add players that you own to a team
- A player can only be on one team per league
- A player can participate in multiple leagues simultaneously
Once you've set up your league, teams, and rosters, you're ready to:
- Schedule games between teams
- Track game statistics and scores
- View team standings and player stats
- Share game results with others
